And their off!!
Easterly winds throughout the afternoon were gusty but dropped off nicely for the flight. Had a few virga showers around 10 thousand feet, but did not have any lasting affects on the flight.

Is that you in the first pic at top in the basket? I am not sure I recognize you. I can't believe how many baloons there are. That is so cool!

Oh how I wish that was me. Since I am not a licensed pilot yet I am not allowed to fly at events like this...yet. I am working on my pilots license and will hopefully have that this fall so I can fly events like this next year.
There are around 100 balloons here for the week. Was real hazy again this morning, will publish a few more pictures later on.
