Onto Texas....

On Friday I will be making my way down south to Waco, Texas. Originally I had planned to leave a few days prior, and stop in Longview for a race there. Unfortunately though, the Longview airport is underwater (so much so they can't land planes there). So instead, I am headed to Waco to get in a few practice flights before the Nationals kick off on Tuesday morning. I am crewing for a team of pilots that include Al Nels (past Nationals and Worlds champion), Andy Baird (owner of Cameron Balloons and Paul Petrehn (who recently placed 11th in the World last fall). Should be a great time and I am looking forward to seeing what we can do. As time allows, I will continue to keep this page updated with the latest information on Nationals as well as other random things I may find along the way.
