Black Hills

A good friend of mine came out to visit this past week. For the first few days, we hung around Sioux Falls visiting the Human Body Exhibit & the Redlin Museum, and even drug the balloon out for a flight. Thereafter, we spent much of the remainder of the week in the Black Hills experiencing much of what they have to offer.

It was so great to be a part of the SW Iowa Hot Air Balloon Championships as it has been a few years since I had last attended. This year was different from years past, as I was able to fly the event! My sponsor, Prairie View Assisted Living was awesome!!! The weather cooperated for the event, and we were able to fly three of the four flights (Sunday morning was canceled due to the fog). Attached are a few pictures of the event (I apologize for not having any balloon photos, I was too busy flying).
